Mr. Rafaqat Ullah Babar is the founder partner of Rafaqat Babar & Co (Chartered Accountants). After qualifying as Chartered Accountant in 1981 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan he got associated with a public sector organization till 1986. It was in 1986 that he started his practice as Rafaqat Babar & Co Chartered Accountants.
He has years of grueling, hardcore and penetrating experience in areas of statutory audits, company law matters, taxation and business advisory.
His contribution to the accounting and auditing profession includes his nominations as vice president of North of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Currently he is council member of the governing body of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Mr. AMER JAVED AHMED (F.C.A)
Mr. Amer Javed Ahmed heads the tax department of the firm. Prior to joining Rafaqat Babar & Co (Chartered Accountants) he worked as manager corporate affairs in Viqar A Khan (Chartered Accountants).
He, in early 1998 on a mandate from Central Board of Revenue, was a team member that conceptualized a scheme termed as the ‘new tax model’ for reviving the economy and increasing the revenue by 100% in three years from the date of its implementation. Nine fundamental concepts from the ‘model’ have been made part of the annual federal and provincial budgets of Pakistan 1998-99 and 1999-2000.
He qualified in 2000 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. His primary areas of interest are taxation of individuals, businesses and Not-for-Profit entities (NPO’s). He is actively engaged in advising clients in areas of corporate and individual tax planning and compliance.
MR. SAIFULLAH (A.C.A)
Mr. Saif Ullah Qualified in 2002 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He is the partner in the audit department. His area of specialization are auditing and accounting for not-for-profit organization, public sector and manufacturing concerns.
He also oversees the corporate affairs advisory matters.
Mr. Afzal H. Dossani (F.C.A, F.C.I.S, A.C.A)
Mr. Afzal Hussian Dossani carries with him an extensive exposure of the international financial markets. He qualified as Chartered Accountants in England in 1982. After qualifying, he worked with an international bank for nine years and has been involved in the financial services industry since then. Upon his return to Pakistan in mid 1992, he joined Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari group, one of the leading brokerage house, securities dealers and financial/ banking institution as Financial Controller before setting up his own practice in 1993. He has been responsible for evolving and implementing the management information System (MIS) requirements of the various companies in the gourp. Here he also gained experience of the local capital market, which has helped him to extend his services to numerous organizations. He has extensive knowledge of the local financial markets, well equipping him to provide practical and competent advice on financial markets and environments. He has good exposure of auditing pharmaceuticals, cement and garment industries. He is also a visiting faculty member for educational institutions.
Mr. Ahmed Umer Galaria (F.C.A)
Mr. Ahmed Umer Galaria qualified as a Chartered Accountant in December 1968 and became and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan on 25 Jan 1969 with registration number 517. He was admitted ass a fellow member in August 1980. He has over thirty-five years post qualification experience in accounts, finance, taxation, corporate affairs and related matters. He ahs worked in various industrial units like automobile, alloy steel, pain and sugar. Lastly he worked for and insurance company for 6 years. He has worked as Chief Accountant General Manager Finance & Internal Audit and Company Secretary in Pakistan. He has also worked for seven year with government of Malaysia as Contract Accountant in the capacity of Assistant Registrar of Companies, Cost Accountant and Investigation Officer in Inland Revenue Department. He joined Mansha Mohsin Dossani Khan & Co. on 01st July 2000 as manager audit and corporate matters.
Mr. Aamir Younas (A.C.A)
He became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan on 17th January 2002. He has vast experience of audit, accounts, taxation, corporate matters, management information system and consultancy in financial matters.
